| We are the Newcomers Club of Cuernavaca, 150 member families strong. Our organization functions to welcome new English speaking people into our community. We strive to aid in the cultural integration of our members into the Mexican environment. Our functions range from speakers of varied topics, bake-offs, community wide garage sales, play groups, art openings and holiday festivites. We also are proud to contribute to our community with numerous philanthropic activites.Our goal is to assist and give guidance to newcomers to Cuernavaca -- our meetings are held on the first Friday morning of the month at 9:30 a.m. Our activities are conducted in English but are open to everyone. Our publications include a monthly newsletter, and a yearly updated Service Guide and Survial Guide. | ||

| The main function of Newcomers is to acclimate members and their families to life in Mexico City, the Club also promotes Mexican culture and provides philanthropy to a number of charities including orphanages, schools, hospitals, foundations for disabled children and other fellowships by providing food, clothing, furniture, toiletries and services such as plumbing, painting and repair work; volunteer work and funding. Newcomers hosts a number of events throughout the year to raise funds and goods for support of their charities, Some of these include a Home Tour, a Holdiay Charity Brunch and a monthly meeting where various goods, along with funds are collected for donation. | The Newcomers' Club of Monterrey was formed to welcome all Newcomers to the Monterrey area and help them to adjust to their new home. We currently have around 150 members of many nationalities. Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month, and are conducted in English. We also offer social activities such as: Bunko, Kids Play Groups, Neighborhood Coffee,and Book Club. We are also dedicated to charity within the area and visit local orphanages on a monthly basis. There really is something for everyone! Membership includes a survival guide full of information about Mexico in general, and Monterrey specifically. We publish a monthly newsletter full of information and club activities.
