| Newcomers & Neighbors of the Deerfield Area (NNDA) was founded in 1949 (as The Newcomers Club of Deerfield) to foster friendship among its members and others in the community, to create a civic interest in our community, and to acquaint newcomers with the advantages of Deerfield. Fifty-seven years later, the organization is still providing opportunities for all in the community and has expanded its membership to include Bannockburn, Highland Park and Riverwoods. Special events are held monthly in the form of day and evening programs. | The Woman's Club of Evanston is a group of over 400 women from the North Shore, Chicago and the surrounding communities dedicated to community service, philanthropic work and friendship. Some of us have lived in the area for years, but now find ourselves with lifestyle changes - like becoming a stay-at-home mom with small children or wanting to get more involved with the community.
