This is a directory of Newcomers Clubs, Women's Groups, Moms Clubs & Dads organizations in Spain, which are designed to give men and women the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who live in the area. Many of these groups have general meetings and interest groups which encourage members to learn about their new city, its culture, activities, lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. New Friends Club organizes leisure activities to meet new friends in Barcelona: courses, parties, getaways, trips, culture and sport events... No membership obligatory. All nationalities welcome. Most of events are in Spanish and for singles but there are also bilingual English-Spanish/Catalan activities and events open to families.

Toastmasters International in Spain is a non-profit organization. Meetings are open to all nationalities and meetings are normally in English. Except for one of the Barcelona clubs, which is in Catalan/Spanish, and Spanish in one of the clubs on Mallorca. The club provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment for Self-development and Leadership skills. There are currently 12 TOASTMASTERS Clubs in Spain and Portugal. Located in Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, in the Valencia, Alicante and Murcia area, at the Costa del Sol, Gibraltar, in the bay of Cadiz and Lisbon, Portugal.

AMERICAN WOMEN'S CLUB OF MADRID Madrid, Spain

Activities for members of the club have encompassed a myriad of interests: cooking demonstrations, cultural visits, tours, bridge, mah-jongg, luncheon groups, a playgroup for small children and their mothers, Spanish language classes, and many others. Membership is comprised of American women or wives of U.S. Citizens and Associate Members of other nationalities.

The Achievers Toastmasters Club meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7.30 for 8 pm at the Aloha Garden Complex in Nueva Andalucia, Costa del Sol. The Club provides a supportive and positive learning environment and is also a great place to meet like minded people of all ages and walks of life.
