We've now grown to over 70 with the help of the great women in the group. We usually get together the second Saturday of each month for a play and conversation - each time at a different mom's house. For most of us, the playgroups have been a great way of meeting other women who are balancing work and family. For our children, it provides an opportunity for socializing. Typically the kids have free play while we moms talk about local resources like doctors, schools, kitchen contractors etc. In addition to playgroups, we get together periodically for Mom's Night Out or family picnics. And, we often email each other for advice, referrals and when looking for child care. | ||
