Many of these groups have general meetings and interest groups which encourage members to learn about their new city, its culture, activities, lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. IWCA is an international club which was founded in 1994 by ladies who had lived abroad and knew from experience the importance of friendship. The "club language" is English and we provide opportunities for the members to meet and hope to contribute to the strenghtening of bonds between nations.

Established in 1971, the Canadian Women's Club (CWC) provides interesting opportunities for Canadians living in Belgium to meet, interact and socialize. The CWC is also strongly committed to giving back to the Belgian community, and for many years the Club has worked with three charitable organizations. Every year, fundraising events and various charitable activities are organized to help support these organizations as well as the women and children they represent.
