| A great number of people have found friendship and entertainment through our Brisbane Newcomers Club which was established in 1966 and meets monthly. We have a small membership and an excellent committee who voluntarily give up their time to organise outings, visits to places of interest and guest speakers at our monthly lunches. We are honoured to have our Brisbane Lord Mayor, The Right Hon. The Lord Mayor Campbell Newman as Club Patron. He shows a genuine interest in the needs of new residents to our City. No matter whether you are new to Brisbane or have lived here for a long time, our Club offers friendship and interesting guest speakers at monthly meetings in the beautiful surroundings of the Tattersall’s Club in the Queen Street Mall. | ||
