| The Club was organized in 1972 for the purpose of welcoming new residents into the community, assisting them in becoming part of its social and civic life and affording them an opportunity to make friends. Dues are $15.00 per member per year, which runs September through May, plus $12.00 for each luncheon. The September meeting is a Membership Kickoff Brunch. Luncheon program meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, October through May. Social time begins at 11:30 a.m.,lunch is served at noon and the program ends by 1:00 p.m.,unless specified in the newsletter. Coffees are held in member's homes the fourth Wednesday of August, October and January through May from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Members provide the finger foods or desserts. Dinner Club is held the third Friday of the month at different local restaurants. There are a number of interest groups such as bridge, MaJoong, gardening and a book group. | ||
