Many of these groups have general meetings and interest groups which encourage members to learn about their new city, its culture, activities, lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. Our MOPS group is a warm and inviting time to share in communication with other moms. Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month through the school year. The times are from 9:00am-11:30am with child care provided and also an evening session from 6:30pm-8:00pm with no child care provided. We also welcome anyone who loves to watch children and to come in in the mornings and volunteer with our little kiddos.

Our mission is to develop friendships and social spirit among new residents of Oil Cit, Franklin and surrounding areas. Luncheon meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month September through May at local restaurants. Our activities range from pre-school playgroups to daytime activities of crafts, activities and roadtrips, to themed evening parties or dining for adults. The Meadville, PA area Lunch Bunch group was formed in 1988 when the Welcome Wagon Club was active in this area. The Club has since disbanded, but the lunchers have been going strong every month ever since 1988. We welcome anyone new to the area or anyone who would like to meet new people. We are a small group, but very interesting!
