This is a directory of Newcomers Clubs, Women's Groups, Moms Clubs & Dads organizations in Sacramento Area of California, which are designed to give men and women the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who live in the area. Many of these groups have general meetings and interest groups which encourage members to learn about their new city, its culture, activities, lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. | The El Dorado Hills Newcomers Club welcomes residents, established and new, to our organization to bring together in friendly fellowship all residents of El Dorado Hills. We strive to stimulate interest in civic, social, educational and philanthropic aspects of our community. Activities include: Book Group, Moviegoers, Gals on the Go (singles group), Dollars & Sense Investment Club, Writer's Workshop, We Wine I & II (winetasting), Dining Out With Friends, Casual Gourmet, We Walk, Speed Walking, Fun on the Run RVers, Golf, Garden Group; also bridge, bunco, Mexican train, pinochle, and hand & foot card game groups. We have monthly lunches at various local restaurants, several parties during the year and bus trips to fun and interesting destinations. | ||

| The first meeting of the Elk Grove Newcomers and Friends Club was held in December 1971. The purpose of this club is to promote a friendly community group for persons moving into the Elk grove area. The club strives to form lasting friendships and to lessen the lost feeling so common to a newcomer. Special interest and activities include Bridge, Bunco, golf, Mah Jongg, pinochle, and Neighbors' Kitchen-a morning cooking group. The Cork 'n' Fork, a sunday afternoon or early evenion dining out, is one of the most popular and fun activities offered. Singles are encouraged to participate in all events and group. | ||

| Newcomers and Neighbors of the Greater Sacramento Area (NNGSA) offers activities such as bridge, bunco, dining out, movies, and wine tasting. We also have a garden group and a gourmet lunch group. We sponsor a monthly coffee on the first Thursday of each month and a no-host luncheon on the third Tuesday of the month. Come and join us. | ||

| This social club with over 900 members offers over 25 activity groups from bridge to woodworking. Membership is open to all new residents who have lived for two years or less in the areas of Grass Valley Nevada City, Cedar Ridge, Chicago Park, Penn Valley, Rough & Ready, and Smartville. Also eligible is any person who has been divorced within the past year or whose spouse has died within the past year. Helps new members integrate into the community, promotes fellowship and contributes to local charities. | ||

We offer get acquainted coffees, luncheons with great speakers, bridge, bunco, gourmet, wine, book, and needlework clubs. Our activities are mostly for women, but some are for couples.
