| Attention all stay-at-home moms! Are you tired of hearing people say: "it must be nice to get to do nothing all day!" or "that's not a REAL job!"?? It's time to get out of the house and join other stay-at-home moms who know what it is REALLY like to choose motherhood as a career! The MOMS Club (A.K.A. MOMS Offering Moms Support) is an international non-profit organization that was created in 1983 to provide support, encouragement and friendship for the stay-at-home mom. The organization now has over 2,000 chapters with over 100,000 members in the United States alone, and several chapters worldwide as well. We meet in the daytime when stay-at-home moms need support the most, and children are always welcome at all activities! We offer playgroups, tours of local businesses, park days, discussion groups, kid crafts, a monthly mom’s night out, and so much more. We also mail a monthly newsletter to all members, that includes the calendar loaded with events, and service projects that we perform for the community. There are plenty of leadership roles to take on, too, to keep that Mommy Brain working! We focus our activities on the Five Cities/Nipomo area where our members live so no one has to drive more than 10 miles or so to enjoy the lasting friendships that come out of a MOMS Club membership! | ||
